05. NA NOI & WIANG SA

Discover Nan’s cultural heritage, traditional cuisine and remarkable natural landscapes on a journey towards Sao Din Na Noi, a fascinating formation sculpted by nature. Along the way, visit a traditional Nan dragon boat workshop near a historic temple, admire an ancient tree believed to be around 1,000 years old, and explore the Nan elephant camp.

Savour regional dishes prepared in clay pots, then enjoy Nan coffee at a charming wooden café that once served as a depot for elephant transport. Experience the relaxed pace of life in rural Nan!

06. COUNTRY SIDE BICYCLE/ KAYAK TOUR

Explore the peaceful countryside of Wiang Sa on a relaxed bicycle ride led by a local guide. Follow quiet rural roads past green fields, small villages, and mountain views, enjoying a closer look at everyday life along the way.

Stop at a riverside café for a coffee and take in the gentle flow of the river and the surrounding scenery. With fresh air and time to enjoy the views, it’s a lovely way to discover rural Nan.

For a little more adventure, add an optional kayaking trip on the Wa River. Paddle past leafy riverbanks, watch for birds, and enjoy the quiet beauty of nature from the water.

07. NAN AUTHENTIC COUNTRY SIDE

Experience the slow life of the Nan countryside on a cultural journey showcasing authentic Nan. Discover the province’s rich heritage, beginning at the Nan Identity Museum, followed by a visit to a traditional dragon boat workshop and a fascinating temple. At the Bo Suak Archaeological Site, explore ancient pottery excavations dating back over 3,000 years. The highlight of the day is an organic farm-to-table lunch prepared by a local rice-farming couple at their home, surrounded by rice fields and mountain views. After lunch, visit a traditional weaving workshop before ending the journey at Wat Khao Noi, overlooking Nan city.

08. JUNGLE TREKKING

We collect you from your hotel in Nan at 7:00 AM, followed by an approximately one-hour drive to the trailhead. Before setting off, our team will explain the route and lead a short warm-up.

Enjoy around two hours of guided trekking through the forest, passing towering trees, diverse vegetation and hilly terrain. At our lunch stop, the team demonstrates outdoor cooking and shares insights into traditional forest food gathering.

The return trek takes approximately two hours. Three routes are available, with the most suitable option selected according to difficulty, participants’ fitness levels and weather conditions.

09. WILDWATER RAFTING / KAYAKING

Drive approximately 45 minutes from Nan, then continue through mountain forests to the river. Before setting off, our guides explain the safety procedures and prepare everyone for the rafting adventure.

The route combines exciting rapids, rocky sections and calmer stretches, with beautiful views of forests and mountains, opportunities to spot birds, and glimpses of local fishing activities along the riverbanks.

Enjoy a picnic lunch beside the river. The rafting route covers approximately 10 kilometres and takes around two to three hours. Afterwards, visit a viewpoint overlooking the Wa River valley before changing clothes and returning to your hotel.

10. MORNING MARKET & ALMS GIVING

Wake up early and discover Nan as the town begins its day. Wander through the morning market, where vendors arrange fresh vegetables, fruit, and home-cooked dishes while neighbours stop to shop and chat. Enjoy the smell of freshly prepared food, browse the stalls, and taste a few local snacks along the way.

As barefoot monks walk quietly through the streets, join local residents in offering alms and receiving a blessing—a gentle morning tradition that remains part of everyday life in Nan.

Finish with a visit to Wat Phumin to admire its beautiful murals and hear the stories behind them. It’s a peaceful way to start the day and experience the town beyond its sights.

11. LOCAL HOME DINNER

At 5:30 PM, we’ll take you to a local family’s home for a relaxed evening and a taste of everyday life in Nan. Take a gentle walk around their garden, see what’s growing, and help pick a few fresh vegetables or fruits for dinner. Your hosts will share a little about their garden, their cooking, and life at home.

Then sit down to a freshly prepared, home-cooked meal, with fish or meat options. Enjoy simple local flavours, warm hospitality, and friendly conversation around the table. Your guide will be there to translate and help everyone chat, so you can ask questions, share stories, and get to know your hosts.

After an easy evening of good food and company, we’ll take you back to your accommodation around 8:00 PM.

12. ROYAL DINNER EXPERIENCE

Enjoy a private dinner in a teak house more than 200 years old, hosted by a descendant of a former ruler of Nan. Admire the aged wooden beams and traditional details as your host shares stories about the home, the family, and their connection to the town.

Then settle in for a delicious meal and friendly conversation in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. With time to look around, ask questions, and hear about local traditions, this evening offers a personal glimpse into Nan’s history and heritage.

13. ORGANIC FARM TO TABLE LUNCH

Enjoy a peaceful lunch at a rice farmer’s home, surrounded by rice fields and mountain views. Walk through the vegetable garden, see what’s growing, and chat with your hosts about everyday life on the farm.

Then sit down to a home-cooked meal made with fresh ingredients from the garden and nearby farms. Relax, enjoy the quiet surroundings, and experience the simple pleasures of rural Nan.

14. CHILDREN'S LANTERN MAKING

Spend a relaxed few hours at Baan Khom Kham, learning to make a traditional Lanna lantern with friendly local villagers. No experience is needed—the villagers will show you each step in a simple, easy-to-follow way, so you can enjoy making something of your own.

Take a break for a drink and some tasty snacks, then finish your lantern to bring home as a lovely reminder of your time in Nan.

We’ll drop you off and pick you up afterwards. A tour guide won’t accompany you, but don’t worry—you’ll be warmly welcomed and well looked after by your local hosts.

15. AIRPORT PICK-UP & HALF DAY

Start your visit to Nan with a relaxed half-day city tour after we pick you up from the airport around noon. Explore the old town with your local guide, discovering its history, beautiful temples, and everyday life.

Visit highlights such as Wat Phumin and its famous murals, the White Temple, the Golden Temple, and the old city wall. Along the way, enjoy the charm of traditional streets and stop at a local café for a refreshing break.

After an easy afternoon exploring, we’ll take you to your accommodation around 5:00 PM, ready to settle in and enjoy your stay.

16. FROM CLAY TO CLOTH

Discover Nan’s traditional craftsmanship at Ban Bo Suak’s ancient pottery kilns. Enjoy a hands-on pottery experience and create your own piece with guidance from local artisans.

Visit a weaving community to see traditional handwoven fabrics and discover the art of natural dyeing using colours from plants.
